Bread and Yoga is thrilled to announce the dates for our 10th Annual Om Grown Holiday Market! Each year we curate 3 weekends filled with uptown’s best artists, artisans, and food vendors. THIS year, we’re thrilled to add in one extra weekend at our new location in Harlem, as well. We hand select vendors for each market to provide shoppers with a unique experience and a wide variety of gifts to choose from. Shop local and support uptown!

Friends!! Our 🔥December Teacher of the Month is Argentina Rosado ( @argentinarosadoyoga )🔥, teaching at our * H a r l e m * Location! Keep reading for a little Q&A we had together and find the full interview via the link at the end! Here's a bit more from Argentina: ✨I was born and raised in The Dominican Republic and moved to the U.S. at the age of 15, along with my mom and my three siblings. I started practicing yoga and meditation as a way to cope with the changes of moving to a different country, learning a new language, fitting in with the culture, and leaving the rest of my family back home, including my dad. Yoga and meditation gave me peace in the middle of chaos and became part of my lifestyle and everyday life.I continued to practice yoga on and off throughout the years and, after graduating college and working in the pharmaceutical drug industry for years, I decided that I wanted to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing in a more holistic way. I’m now a New York City based, full-time yoga instructor with 12+ years of personal practice, and 4+ years teaching experience. I study and practice holistic healing techniques such as Reiki, Yoga Nidra, and various meditation techniques. My classes are breath-centered, challenging, but still accessible and never competitive. Off the mat, I love to spend time with my dog Rocky and volunteering back home in the Dominican Republic and here in the US. And now for the Q&A: Q: HI THERE! TELL ME A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF. ✨I’m a full-time, 500-hour certified yoga teacher. I lead wellness retreats and stress-management programs online and at corporate settings. I was born and raised (until about 12) in the Dominican Republic, then in Boston, and now NYC. Most people can’t tell where my accent comes from at this point. 🙂 Q: INCREDIBLE! HOW DID YOU COME TO YOGA, AND BY EXTENSION, BREAD AND YOGA? ✨I started yoga when I moved to the US. I was going to High School at the time and I felt very stressed and overwhelmed due to the many changes that were happening. I couldn’t believe the feeling after my first yoga class.
