It takes courage to push yourself to places that you have never been before… to test your limits… to break through barriers. And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
As we are ensconced in these times of change, fear can be waiting in the wings. It can blind us and bind us. If we allow, that fear can hold us in stasis, stunt our growth as we tell ourselves that we are not ready. Yet readiness is an illusion. We can never truly be ready. Perhaps we can be ready for our idea of what is to come, but we have no guarantee of what will be. So we have to bravely make the first move, crack open the shell, press up through the soil and unfurl our beauty into the open air.
