Prenatal Yoga

Pregnancy is a new, exciting and sometimes challenging time in a woman’s life. Our prenatal program focuses on easing the challenges and celebrating the daily miracles that happen inside a woman’s body during those 40 weeks of gestation. In prenatal yoga class we will address the aches and pains related to all the changes in the body, work on creating connection with baby, build community with other moms, relieve stress, and learn some basic breathing and other techniques that will support you through pregnancy, labor and delivery.

SCHEDULE

Prenatal Yoga: Tuesday 6:30-8 PM

Carolina’s class gives women an opportunity to connect with their changing bodies and growing babies. These techniques can help both to prepare for and during childbirth.

Teacher: Carolina Lindoff

Carolina grew up in a small town in Sweden, and moved to the northern part of the country to get her degree as a Dance Teacher. Through her dance studies she came across yoga and since her move to New York City, yoga has been the anchor that helped her through the transition and beyond. The calling to be a teacher has always been strong so it came natural, as her practice deepened to take on the journey of becoming a Yoga Teacher. Carolina completed her 500 hour Teacher Training with YogaWorks in 2015, mentoring with Laurel Beversdorf. She is also a certified in Prenatal Yoga through Maha Mama where she trained with Krissy Shields in 2017. Teaching Prenatal Yoga has become a large and important piece of her teaching and she loves supporting mamas on their pregnancy journey and into parenthood.

Carolina teaches classes with an alignment focus, flow and a spiritual or emotional theme to explore. She’s a firm believer in that yoga is for everyone, and loves to meet students on all different levels. As a teacher it’s important for her to see her students and let them guide her teaching. Her intention is to always create an environment where her students feel safe to explore, learn and have fun!

She’s thankful for having found the Bread & Yoga community, a place that immediately felt like home.
