About Bread and Yoga

Welcome To Bread And Yoga

Nestled in the uppermost neighborhood of Manhattan, Bread and Yoga proudly enters its sixth year serving the Inwood community. We are dedicated to providing mindful (and creative) programming that inspires and encourages personal development and deep rooted connections in the community. Offering yoga classes, an extensive AfterSchool Program and so much more, our mission is to bring families and the community together to share, exchange ideas and break bread in our home at 5000 Broadway.

After a year and a half long stay at our interim space at Holy Trinity Church, we look forward to welcoming you into our new home with an updated lineup of classes and events. There is so much planned! We will be offering yoga in various styles for all levels, our unique AfterSchool Program, early childhood classes, a return of our Nutrition Programs as well as additions to our schedule such as regular Co-Working hours, hours for wellness practitioners, workshops, special guests and more. We are also excited to bring back our famous Om Grown Variety Show and the much loved Annual Holiday Market. In addition we plan to introduce brand new traditions such as Trunk Shows with featured local artists and a full Cooking Class Series.

We are thrilled to have partnered with Scribble Art Workshop in our new space. Scribble will be offering a full schedule of art classes and workshops for kids and adults, helping us fulfill our mission of bringing creativity to the community and giving the many uptown artists a place to nurture their talents. Visit our shared website to find out about our upcoming collaborations.

Since its inception in 2009, Bread and Yoga quickly grew beyond expectations to become a gathering place for many in the community. We hope to continue to be a positive source of inspiration and vitality in Upper Manhattan.
